Woodwork - "Viewfinder"
1999
In 1996, right out of college, John performed cello with the band Woodwork. That group featured David Lee Hess and Chris Downey. Along with Michael Hedges, these two guitarists influenced John’s approach to the acoustic more than anyone else. "Viewfinder" was their first full-length record, released in 1999, and Jason McKenzie was the drummer.
Email David Lee Hess to find out where he and Chris will perform next. They are phenomenal together. Also, visit CD Baby to buy a physical copy of "Viewfinder". They are the only ones who have it any more.
