Welcome to JohnPointer.com, the online home of Austin-Based musician, actor John Pointer.
John is always involved in several artistic projects, as well as private and public initiatives and causes, and works with groups such as the Austin Music Foundation, the SIMS Foundation and Save Austin Music. You will find information about each of those elements here.
This site also serves as the beta test for John’s new Patron Program. He has created a way to provide musicians with a salary, paid collectively by their fans, to make new music and give it away for free. The public version will be launched shortly at patronism.com.
